Support of Parish Social Ministry

Our parish has two key groups that work in the area of social ministry: Parish Outreach and the St. Vincent de Paul Conference.

• Parish Outreach maintains a food pantry that provides food to dozens of needy persons and families in our community.
• St. Vincent de Paul Conference assists families that are having financial difficulties meeting basic needs like rent or heating bills.

During Lent, we are praying for these social ministries and giving alms to help them out. All money collected will go right back into our Hauppauge community.

If you wish to help support, please make checks payable to St. Thomas More and write "Parish Lenten Project" on the subject line, then drop into the little wooden house in the Narthex of the church.
